Swimming in Paradise

Swimming in paradise at Erawan Waterfall. The waterfalls are found in the limestone based Tenasserim Hills of Kanchanaburi Province in the Western part of Thailand. The falls are named after Erawan the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology. There are seven tiers of the falls within Erawan National Park. Being limestone based; the park also contains some amazing caves which are well worth checking out.

Ko Phi Phi Don Sunset

Sunset over P.P. Long Beach with some longtail boats (ruea hang yao) parked for the day. This shot was taken just about a month before the 2004 Boxing Day or Indian Ocean tsunami wiped out everything on the island including most of the beautiful people there. Phi Phi Don is a rugged limestone island with development confined to a low sandbar isthmus separating two main wings of the island and did not stand a chance.
