Mount Damāvand and Lar Dam as seen from 32,000 feet (9750m) in the air. Mount Damāvand, دماوند , is a volcano in Iran that is the highest peak in the Middle East at 5,610 m (18,410 ft). It is located in the Alborz range to the North East of Tehran and south of the Caspian Sea.
