The northern lights (Aurora Borealis) dance over Vivian Lake near Prince George. The solar storm hit G3 (KP7) levels briefly, and this was by far the most amazing display that I have seen watching either the southern or northern lights. Normally at these latitudes photos of the lights outshine what you can see with the naked eye by a significant magnitude, but in what was a surreal experience one could see the whole lake glowing green as if lit by a full moon while visible flashes of green, and pink danced overhead in a high frequency rhythmic pulsation.
