The Echo Point Hut was built by the Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service in 1962. Sitting in the final stages of the 82 km (51 mi) Overland Track between Cradle Mountain and Lake St Clair the often bypassed wooden hut remains in service in its original state and sleeps 8 people.
