We spent an amazing four days exploring and camping in the Lake O’Hara region with my little family and some friends. The area is restricted via a lottery style booking system to minimise impact. Having spent two decades exploring over six continents it is rare to see such accessible pristine wilderness. If you ever get the chance to visit the area take it. We hiked as hard as we could including a couple of night hikes given the time restrictions in the area.
