Lar Dam Mt Damavand

Mount Damāvand and Lar Dam as seen from 32,000 feet (9750m) in the air. Mount Damāvand, دماوند‎‎ , is a volcano in Iran that is the highest peak in the Middle East at 5,610 m (18,410 ft). It is located in the Alborz range to the North East of Tehran and south of the Caspian Sea. Lar Dam, سد لار, is utalised as the main municipal water supply to Tehran and to power 162.5MW of Hydroelectric Power Stations at Kalan and Lavarak. Lar National Park, Mazandaran, Iran
