Blue hour at Lost Lake with a touch of alpenglow on Mt Hood. Known as Wy'east to the Multnomah tribe, Hood is still a potentially active volcano. The lost lake mysteriously drains in late summer and turns into a meadow. There are two hollow lava tubes at the bottom of the lake and when the flow into the lake starts to reduce over summer the level begins to drop.
